The Alamance Chamber Workforce Council provides a forum for local companies, educational institutions, and workforce development resources to address business-driven issues surrounding local and regional workforce development.
- Generate business-driven action items to address issues of quality and supply of workers
- Bring together the entities above to discuss both existing resources, programs and services related to workforce development as well as brainstorm new initiatives for enhancing the workforce pipeline, especially for skilled positions
- Enhance collaboration on various ways to address both short term issues of finding and training labor, as well as methods to build a more sustainable workforce pipeline
The Workforce Council meets on the first Tuesday of every other month (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec) from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
