Marketing Through The Chamber

Need cost-effective ways to market your business?  Connect with hundreds of chamber members and the general public through our effective marketing opportunities. From promoting your business in our monthly mailing packet to adding a link and logo to your online directory listing, marketing your business through the chamber is an inexpensive way to target key business leaders in the community.

  1. Directory Website Link and Logo
If you’re not advertising online, you’re missing an easy and inexpensive way to target new clients.  On average, the chamber site receives 15,000 hits a day and entertains over 375 session visits per day; that means 375 citizens are spending at least four minutes a day browsing the chamber site.  The member directory receives the majority of those visits.  For pennies a day, you can expand your customer base significantly and allow website visitors to connect directly to your business.
  2. Website Homepage and/or Interior Page Ads
Want to increase your website presence and reach a larger and global customer base? Purchase an ad on the chamber’s website homepage.  Your advertisement will rotate on multiple pages throughout the site.  Place your business in front of area newcomers, local businesses, area visitors and other community representatives.
  3. Membership Packet Insert
The member packet is distributed to more than 1,100 key community contacts each month.  The packet is an excellent way to communicate directly with fellow chamber members.  Your company fliers, menus, postcards, brochures and more can be submitted and included in the packet as an advertising tool.  Call for packet insert specifications.
  4. Chamber Connection
Alamance County Area Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber Connection newsletter is published bi-monthly and contains current news, announcements and advertisements about the chamber and its members.  The publication is distributed as a supplement to the Times-News which is distributed to 30,000 readers as well as mailed to over 1,100 of Alamance County’s business leaders and decision makers.  Advertising in the Chamber Connection is an efficient way to promote your business.
  5. It’s Your Business
The chamber, in partnership with Time Warner Cable and Elon University’s School of Communications, produces this television program which highlights businesses in Alamance County.  It’s Your Business is a 30 minute program featuring three chamber businesses as well as an interview segment with a local community leader. It's Your Business can be seen on cable access channels 5 and 10 in Alamance County.
  6. Ribbon Cuttings
Host a ribbon cutting at your company to celebrate a grand opening, renovation, ground breaking or new location.  The chamber will organize the event and promote the celebration in the Chamber Connection
