We are located in the very heart of North Carolina, an area known as the Piedmont, which extends from Raleigh to Charlotte. As the state's centralized link between east and west, Alamance County joins two major metropolitan areas: the Triad (Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem) and the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill). An excellent federal and state highway network puts any city in the Piedmont within an hour's drive for county residents.

The Alamance County Area Chamber of Commerce offers a relocation packet to individuals moving to the area. The packet includes information about the area, services available to local folk, and pertinent information regarding the various municipalities in the County. Apartment and housing information is also included. Relocation packets are free for newcomers and may be mailed per your request, or picked up at our office located at 610 South Lexington Ave.
