(September 22, 2021, Burlington, NC) – The Alamance Chamber is pleased to announce the selection of a Vice President of Economic Development. Andrea Fleming has been promoted to the position after 14 years with the Alamance Chamber. Andrea will begin her new role on October 4, 2021.
“I am honored and excited for the opportunity to lead the economic development efforts for the Chamber,” said Fleming. “I look forward to incorporating new initiatives for the Chamber as well as continuing the positive momentum of economic development success for years to come. I am grateful to be a part of Alamance County’s cohesive, cooperative team working on economic and community development.”

Andrea, who joined the Alamance Chamber staff in 2008 served the organization as the Economic Development Associate for seven years, and most recently as the Director of Existing Industry Services. She brings 25 years of economic development industry experience to the role. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing degree from Appalachian State University. In addition, she is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute and is a member of the NC Economic Developers Association.

Andrea serves on the Board of the Alamance County Human Resources Association as the Workforce Development Co-Chair and is a member of the Regional Partnership Workforce Development Board.
