Advocacy Council’s Trip to Raleigh
May 5, 2026
Yesterday, members of the Alamance Chamber’s Advocacy Council joined chambers from across North Carolina in Raleigh for Advocacy Day, an important opportunity to connect with state leaders and discuss the issues impacting businesses and communities across our region.
Following the session, the council met with Senator Amy Galey, Representative Dennis Riddell, and Representative Steve Ross to share priorities outlined in the Chamber’s 2026 Legislative Agenda and advocate for policies that support economic growth, workforce development, and a strong business climate in Alamance County.
A special thank you to Lumin Strategies, our Advocacy Partner, for helping coordinate this valuable opportunity and supporting the Chamber’s ongoing advocacy efforts.
We are proud to represent and advocate for Alamance County businesses while continuing to build strong relationships at the state level that help strengthen the future of our community. Learn more about our Guiding Principles and 2026 Legislative Agenda here.
