The Alamance Chamber has a rich history of business and education partnerships, a relationship that is supported by our desire to uphold quality education at all academic levels.  Quality academic success supports our goals to have a healthy and prosperous business community by providing a competent and competitive workforce.

In 2023 we seek to provide a better forum for local industries, educational institutions, and workforce development resources to have shared conversations and learning opportunities.  The new Education and Workforce Council will feature the members of both previous councils, focusing on career exploration opportunities and how our local business community can both support and be supported by our local educational system.

The Alamance Chamber is excited that these two programs will soon be combined in an effort to provide more effective programming, intentional networking opportunities, and an increased focus on our cradle to career initiatives throughout the county and region.

Important Dates

The Education & Workforce Council meets on the fourth Thursday of every other month (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec) from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
