Economic Summit is an annual event which provides community leaders with the opportunity to gain information on the economic outlook for Alamance County, and the region and state. The event is held at Elon University in October and attendees are given networking opportunities at a reception following the program.

Financing Our Future: Economic Impact of Early Childhood Investments
Sponsored by Family Forward NC, this year’s Economic Summit will explore how investments in (or lack thereof) early childhood development affect our economy. We will examine how our state and county fare in critical areas such as childcare, literacy, health, juvenile justice, and more.
Featuring a panel of local subject matter experts who will speak to the outcomes we can expect when we focus on and invest in these issues – as well as what happens if we don’t.
This is an extremely broad topic, but this event will inform our continued conversations and jump start new ones.
