The Alamance Chamber’s Annual Meeting celebrated the successes of the past year, recognized dedicated community leaders, programs and looked ahead to the future on Tuesday evening at The Alliance Convention Center. A Keynote address titled “An Extraordinary Life” was provided by Jamie Valvano of the Valvano Foundation.

In addition to hearing from the keynote speaker, guests at the Annual Meeting enjoyed remarks from Lisa Pennington of Cone Health, Alamance Chamber Outgoing Board Chair and Troy Woodard of American National Bank & Trust, Alamance Chamber 2020 Board Chair.

The Duke Energy Citizenship and Service award was presented to Jack Rogers Lindley Sr. of IP Products for his immeasurable impact on Alamance County and his commitment to volunteering in the community. Davis Montgomery of Duke Energy presented the award.

Other awards presented:
Volunteer of the Year– Jim Bryan of Fairystone Fabrics, Inc.; Ambassador of the Year– Joanne Pizzuto of Always Best Care Senior Services; Director of the Year– Reed LaPlante First National Bank; Chamber Program of the Year– Leadership Alamance; Leader of Distinction Award– Preston Hammock of Cone Health (the award presented by Cindy Brady of Cone Health); Art in Business Award- Presented by Alamance Arts to Christine Xoinis of Ethos Creative Group.
