An Open Letter to Alamance County: Choose Alamance

An Open Letter to Alamance County:

Today the Alamance Chamber is kicking off Choose Alamance – our support small/local campaign. We are dedicated to honoring Alamance County’s entrepreneurs and celebrating small businesses over the next few weeks. Here at the Alamance Chamber we understand that by helping small businesses succeed we support the economic vitality of our community.

I once saw a quote that reads: “Small Business isn’t for the faint of heart. It is for the brave, the patient, and the persistent. It’s for the overcomer.”

This quote has never been truer than it is today. The Small Businesses in our community have worked tirelessly to weather the ever changing COVID-19 situation not knowing when their business may resume “normal” operation. They have worked to re-imagine their business and pivot from the “normal” they have always known. This week let us celebrate these businesses. Let us support them and encourage them.

Throughout the next few weeks, the Chamber will be hosting learning opportunities, enhancing our encouragement to “Shop Local” and highlighting Chamber Member businesses. I encourage you to take a look at a few opportunities being offered below, and to check our social media channels throughout the week.

My ask to the entire Alamance County community is to support your neighbors. Support our Small and Local businesses. Choose Alamance.

Let’s make these next few weeks the best for our Small and Local Businesses.

Sincerely,
Reagan C. Gural, IOM, CCEC
