We marked our journey through 2023 with strategic collaborations, innovative programs, and unwavering support from our investors, volunteers, and the community.

In 2023, the Alamance Chamber continued to focus on opportunities for businesses to engage in programming to support intentional connections. These were offered through signature events, such as the Annual Meeting, Golf Tournament, Economic Summit, and the ROAR Women’s Symposium which brought together a record-breaking 400 attendees for a day of personal and professional development.

The launch of the Small Business Grant Program, a testament to our commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem, provided pivotal financial support to local businesses, fueling their growth and innovation. The program’s success underscores the critical role of small businesses in driving our local economy and highlights our dedication to their development and prosperity.

Our economic development efforts saw a multifaceted approach, with significant strides in product development, project activity, and strategic initiatives to bolster Alamance County’s position as a thriving hub for business and industry. The introduction of the Alamance Industrial Alliance and the continued success of the Career Accelerator Program partnership exemplifies our efforts to connect industries, support workforce development, and pave the way for future growth and opportunities.

Education and leadership development remained at the forefront of our mission, with programs like the Alamance Youth Leadership Academy, Leadership Alamance, and the Community Leaders’ Retreat shaping the next generation of community and business leaders. These initiatives reflect our dedication to building a foundation for leadership, collaboration, and community engagement.

As we look forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead, we are grateful for the continued support and partnership of our members, investors, and the community. Together, we have laid the groundwork for a future of prosperity, innovation, and success in Alamance County.
