The 2025 Alamance Chamber Annual Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 28th at the Alliance Convention Center at 5:00 p.m. This signature event brings Chamber Investors together to celebrate the successes of 2024 and look forward to what’s ahead in 2025. Each year, we present annual awards to recognize stand out volunteers, leaders and organizations who are making a difference in our community.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2024 Leader of Distinction Award and the 2024 Duke Energy Citizenship & Service Award. Both awards will be announced at the Annual Meeting in January. Review the nomination guidelines and complete the nomination forms below. Nominations are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13th.

Duke Energy Citizenship & Service Award
Presented by: Duke Energy
Nomination Deadline: December 13, 2024

Now, more than ever, volunteers are needed to renew their commitment to helping others and creating efforts that bring us closer as a community and as a nation. Duke Energy wants to recognize these efforts by honoring a citizen(s) with the Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award. This is a tribute to individuals or groups who make a difference in their communities or places of work by using their time, talents and compassion to positively impact the lives of others. Recipients of the award help foster a culture of citizenship and service that acts as a catalyst for others to become involved in civic participation over a twelve-month period.
